Annapurna circuit trek was opened to foreign trekkers in 1977. It takes you to diverse villages in the mountains. You can witness the lifestyle, culture, and traditions of different tribes. Walking through the village of Gurung, Tamang, Magar, Brahmins, etc is a different experience. Their way of living, their hospitality, and their cheerful nature are inspiring. The trek equally rewards you with natural beauty also You can enjoy the most beautiful Himalayan vistas during this splendid trek. The views of Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri Himal from Poon Hill are out of the world similarly You can also enjoy the astonishing views of the Manaslu and Himal Chuli peaks. The enchanting white Himalayas, the rushing Kali Gandaki river, gorge, plain meadows, etc add attractions to the trek. The arid valley of the upper Manang, the Muktinath Temple, Kali Gandaki river valley are the highlights of the trek further more you will love trekking around the Manang, Jomsom and Muktinath region. The highest point on the trek is Thorung La pass, 5416 meters as a result crossing this pass is a thrilling, yet satisfying experience hence the views from the top of the pass are equally breathtaking.

Itinerary Details:-

  • Day 1

    Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

  • Day 2

    Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu

  • Day 3

    Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760m), continue to Syange (1100m) – approx. 7/8 hrs

  • Day 4

    Trek to Tal (1700m) – approx. 5/6 hrs

  • Day 5

    Trek to Danakyu (2,300)-approx. 5/6 hrs

  • Day 6

    Trek to Chame (2670m) – approx. 5/6 hrs

  • Day 7

    Trek to Pisang (3300m) – approx. 5/6 hrs

  • Day 8

    Trek to Manang (3540m) – approx. 5/6 hrs

  • Day 9

    Acclimatization day in Manang (visit the surrounding areas)

  • Day 10

    Trek to Yak Kharka (4050m) – approx. 4/5 hrs

  • Day 11

    Trek to Thorong Phedi (4450m) – approx. 4/5 hrs

  • Day 12

    Cross Thorong La Pass (5416m), trek down to Muktinath (3800m) – approx. 7/8 hrs

  • Day 13

    Drive to Pokhara, approx. 6-7 hrs. OR Drive to Jomsom, approx. 2 hours and flight to Pokhara, approx. 25-30 minutes.

  • Day 14

    Drive to Kathmandu, approx. 9-10 hours. OR Flight to Kathmandu, approx. 30-40 minutes.

  • Day 15

    Leisure Day in Kathmandu

  • Day 16

    Transfer to airport for International Departure
