It is one of the most demanding trekking trails in Nepal and also one of the most searched itineraries on Google as well, specially designed for first-time trekkers or beginners. Now the question comes as to why is it so demanding and why people dream of being at the Everest Base Camp.

Itinerary Details:-

  • Day 1

    Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

  • Day 2

    Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu

  • Day 3

    Drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap, approx. 4-5 hours and Flight to Lukla (2840m), approx. 25-30 min and trek to Phakding (2610m) – approx. 4/5 hrs

  • Day 4

    Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) – approx. 6 hrs (passing multiple suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Bridge)

  • Day 5

    Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar (explore the town, visit nearby viewpoints)

  • Day 6

    Trek to Tengboche (3860m) – approx. 5/6 hrs

  • Day 7

    Trek to Dingboche (4410m) – approx. 5/6 hrs

  • Day 8

    Acclimatization day in Dingboche (optional hike to Nagarjun Hill for panoramic views)

  • Day 9

    Trek to Lobuche (4910m) – approx. 5/6 hrs

  • Day 10

    Trek to Gorak Shep (5140m) and visit Everest Base Camp (5364m) – approx. 7/8 hrs

  • Day 11

    Early morning hike to Kala Patthar (5550m) for sunrise, trek back to Pheriche (4370m) – approx. 7/8 hrs

  • Day 12

    Trek to Namche Bazaar – approx. 6/7 hrs

  • Day 13

    Trek to Lukla – approx. 6 hrs

  • Day 14

    Fly back to Ramechhap and drive to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

  • Day 15

    Leisure day in Kathmandu

  • Day 16

    Transfer to the airport for International Departure.
